On that we can agree for sure. Buying gold is such a gray area, and as CRRKathy brought up it brings the hacking subject into play. And I don't by any means support hacking at all.

The only time I considered using real cash to buy something in game was back in Diablo 2. I was thinking about buying like 25 SoJ's for around $10. For those who didn't play D2, SoJ's (Stone of Jordan) was a "rare" item that players used as currency since gold was extremely easy to come by. It was to buy a bow that I can't remember the name of for my Amazon. I quit playing the game like a month later and when I looked back I told myself to never even consider doing it again. You never know when you might quit a game cause something new comes out. Rather save the cash for the new game. 8-)

As for dude's playing chick characters, I had a friend who played a female Night Elf Druid in WoW, and he used the excuse that y'all said in the show: "If I'm gonna be staring at my characters backside for hours, at least it's a nice backside." The only other reason he could come up with was that he started the char a long time ago, and got so far with her that he didn't want to reroll her. I personally have tried playing female characters and it just doesn't feel right. I couldn't immerse myself into the char as much so it made it boring. Unless you have a game like D2 where you can't change your gender, then it wasn't AS big a deal. But I still preferred my Barbarian over my Amazon.

Hey there, nice show I liked it, actually pulled me through an aweful Zul'gurub run in WoW, somehow without losing my temper or sanity.

One thing that caught my ear was you guys talking about the WWE, Cena and so on, got a question here... Is wrestling actually accepted by a huge crowd in the U.S.? The thing is, if you're watching wrestling over here, you're marked as this weird and dumb freak by the majority of people, so better not talk about it, both of you don't strike me as this type.

@Animus: You most likely mean the Windforce, was an awesome bow, went through the cowlvl and onehitted everything, except the cowking.. took me two shots  As a matter of fact, I was one of those guy selling SoJ's, WF, GF, IK Armor or Annihilus on ebay, aah good old times... I actually made money with this stuff.

As for the characters... I almost only play female chars, Zach may not like the argument of looking at something more appealing, but that's my whole reason. I prefer to look at a female nightelf in a plate bikini rather at some sweaty orc.

I felt there was too much biased against the questing in WoW. In Cataclysm, the 1-60 leveling zones changed drastically that they can barely be related to what it was before the expansion. The whole " gather 10 apples for me and that's it" type of questing is barely present anywhere now. Every zone and questing has reasons for the stuff you do, not like it was Vanilla where you just kill things for no reason. For example, leveling through Westfall is completely changed around. You start the zone off with the murder of two farmers and you span the investigation across the whole zone that leads into where a secret rebel faction uprisings against the sole settlement and you see fighting everywhere.

I did start a new alliance character with the quest chances in Cata but I still feel like its a lot of the old questing style. The big difference is the actual dialog or lack there of in WoW. Wow quests are more about the how and TOR quest seem to be more about the why. In WoW I only really cared about how to complete a quest but in Tor I felt more focused on why to complete a quest. I hope that makes sense.

I haven't really watched it in about 7 years so I am a little out of the loop but the wrestling crowd is an interesting one. It is very popular in terms of cable TV programs here in the US but I don't think its the kind of thing you here people standing around at work talking about. Everyone looks at it as fake and scripted. However there is a large crowd that enjoys that kind of drama.

Also MMA is what I always wanted wrestling to be when I was younger. That is very popular right now in the US and is on its way up.

I'm against 3rd party gold selling, for the reasons Kathy cited, but I'm ok with games that have RMT by design.

As for power leveling - I wouldn't do it, but I think it says more about the issues with the quality of the game than anything against the player. Snodge said it best. Still, I would agree with the loser label on this one because there's always an alternative to power leveling: don't play such a boring-ass game.

Beggars - losers, all.

Playing the opposite gender - these are RPGs. Play whatever type character you want. Just do it well. Personally, while I feel that game artists tend to do a better job with the female form, I'll play a dude if he looks ok. I don't like the 'roided out look of the human males in WoW. But I dig the pornstache on my captain in STO.

Great new segment! You could do a whole show's worth on bad PUG behaviors.

Hm.. so what do you say about those people who actually sell the gold or lvl up chars for others? I kinda was a merc myself in classic WoW. I was the first hunter on my server to complete the hunterquest for rokh'delar (if anyone remembers it) and later on many hunters came to me and gave me a bunch of gold for me to kill their demons, I didn't mind to do it for them and earned a whole lot of gold.

Yep makes perfect sense. I believe it's just how WoW has aged to make you feel that way. The game has been around for years and years now, and the questing style is essentially the same though much much improved. TOR will feel fresh and brand new for awhile but when it has aged just as well as WoW has, I'm sure we'll be seeking to just "how" to complete the quests during rerolls.
