Not to get all Fanboy about the show, but did anyone else see the first part of the "Death Watch" series? A Black Lightsaber! Supposedly stolen from the Jedi Temple many, many moons ago. It looked great in the 3D animation that they use. I have always wondered if there were any black crystals, and to my knowledge this may be the first time one has been seen.

Yea i saw that too, i was like hmmmm... Whats the black signify though, if blue is for knight, green is for consular..

Wow, any pics. I don't know how I would like that. I remember I used a cheat code in KOTORII to have a silver blade. I rather enjoyed it actually.

You know, Zach, the blade looked very different. There was a definite sabre type shape to the tip and I believe it had some type of purple electricity about it. I remember it looking perfectly black, almost like it wasn't there. A bit eerie.

I think that would be a cool unlock for a sith possibly. I would like to see rare colors hidden deep in the game somewhere. You want a silver or black blade? Well you better bust out your Indiana Jones treasure hunting skills because you are going to work for it.

This is actually a pretty exciting idea. I haven't kept up with the Clone Wars since the end of season one...but I did like the show while it was still on. Both the Clone Wars time period and the Old Republic time period provide perfect opportunities for us to discover little things like this. I'll have to check out the episode to see what it looks like.

Was it possible that the person wielding this was some type of Inquisitor-type person?

Black would be nice but how about a nice gleaming silver or pure white blade..

Cool idea but it just wouldnt suit the jedi to have black lightsabers. And correct me if Im wrong but isn't the whole allure of a lightsaber the fact that they glow funky colours?
