As we post this update, we are quite literally headed out the door, bound for Boston. We’re incredibly looking forward to getting our first hands-on with SWTOR, and much more so, meeting the developers and fans! On this week’s show, the ladies of Corellian Run Radio join us to discuss the Bounty Hunter class update, as well as everything the community would ever need to know about PAX East. As always, we would love to hear your thoughts by joining the discussion of this episode on the FORUMS!

We want to offer a big thanks to StarWarsFan421, Niczo Obisk from TIG, Seth Glenn, Republic Killer, Nathaniel Wolfolk, Paydirt76, balpho1, Kevin Martin, Masaimune, and Lance Baumgard for taking the time to leave us reviews on iTunes.

Music for this show was provided by General Fuzz. Check out more of his work at generalfuzz.net

Just listened to the latest podcast
its another great episode

I was really interested in what you guys were saying about bounties in game. Im really really hoping they bring in player vs player bounty hunting in game. My take on this would be player A committing a act in game which could maybe be a gank kill in PVP or a really cheeky kill. This would then lead to Player B (the player that died) being allowed to place a bounty upon player A. I played star wars galaxies for too many years and the way player vs player bounties work in that game is as follows.

Player A kills Player B in PVP increasing their notoriety
Player B before cloning is given the option to place a bounty on player A
Player B chooses to place bounty on player A for X amount of credits
Player A goes on the bounty hunter terminals
Bounty hunters go to BH terminals and get bounties.

When bounties are taken by a bounty hunter the bounty hunter launches a small probe droid which updates the location of the other player in game to the bounty hunter. The Bounty hunter follows the player in game and attacks the player tactically (when the player is weak or vulnerable or just for fun)

Player bounties are a system designed for bounty hunters but the system itself brings a mini game for ALL players involved in it. I can remember people in game increasing their notoriety to get a bounty placed on themselves for the fun of being hunted in game by other players. This system was one of the reason i played star wars galaxies as long as i did. Im hoping Bioware can see the plus points of this kind of system and add it to their star wars MMO.
Why ? Because a star wars without some form of rough justice and consequence for killing people in game just wouldn't be star wars. What would seedy Cantina's be used for other than scoring death sticks ? Why be a bounty hunter if you cant hunt bounties ?

Bring on the gritty underworld and you will add a system to the game that i just know people will love and hate but mostly enjoy and take part in.

Just listened to the episode *THUMBS UP*

I'm so envious that you guys get to go to PAX :) Unfortunatelly, I can't just pop over to America...anyways, will you be updating the site during PAX? Or is there any other way to get the crumbs from the table and stay updated at all times? :)

Good episode again.

You guys say several times that 45m is a lot of time, but I guarantee that when you play it those 45m will fly by.

Have fun!

Loving the episode, halfway though, particularly for the DKM in the transition and the Corellian Run chicks.

cauterize is the best ability ever, i love you brooks!!! borderlands is my favorite game. i love bioware, but borderlands was perfection! anyway, soldier healing in borderlands, for those that dont know, is an aoe of him when he kills a target, a turret that heals an aoe when deployed, and shooting allies with his gun.
