Got me there, but then again for all we know he was actually aiming at some of the murderous ewoks in the woods behind them :P

My beef with it is, you'd think out of all the people firing they'd hit something more or less as in the instance with Han n' Chewie that several people are referencing to in the death star. S'always been a running joking with my friend about how they never seem to hit anything. :D

Actually, my friend told me they do hit someone in the Death Star. I haven't verified this yet, but apparently a trooper shoots another trooper. When Han is charging through the Death Star at the fleeing Troopers, he comes across a bunch of troopers and they start firing as Han runs away. As Han runs away, a trooper falls. But Han never shot. Which means a trooper shot his trooper buddy. :O

Like I said, I haven't checked this yet. It is just what he just told me.

I personally don't like Troopers. They've come to me and made an impression of just an average feeling, and doesn't give off the thrills and excitement that Jedi and Sith do. I mean, Troopers just sort of have their weapons at disposal. However, Jedi and Sith have the Force, and can command it to do all sorts of different and unique actions that create uber awesome sequences. I MIGHT play a trooper, but their low on the list as far as making a character first.

its funny, the only reason i want the trooper is cuz i like the female voice (for obvious reasons) and i like the range tank, but the trooper is seriously my 6th choice to play out of 8. the only 2 under it are melee.

i like what galindran says. i just feel like they are making troopers more bounty hunter-ish with the "attachments" to the gun. i still see troopers as a wave of bullets, and thats not my style unless im in cover (or an ork). yea i made a warhammer 40k reference in a star wars forum! woot!

Why do I want to play a Trooper (as my alt :D ) Because, as the devblog about the Trooper class said oh so many months ago, Happiness is a warm gun!

A Trooper will probably be one the first few characters i make, probably like 3rd or forth, but i plan to plan all republic first then venture over to the dark side eventually.

I didnt much care for the voice work in the trooper video either not cause it was annoying but the dialog just seemed awkward and fake to me. i like the work that Jennifer Hale has done before such works as the female pc in mass effect but in the video something was just off.

I think that troopers in the movies are cool. Not Stormtroopers really more the clone troopers. I think that the clones are the only good thing about the prequels haha. I really think troopers are cool when they are sliding down lines like they did when they attacked Utapau in Episode III. This video didn't really give me that kind of "wow Im glad Im not fighting them" feeling.

Do you think his squad mates berated him after the battle? "Dude, you shot that chick. Did you not get the memo? 'Don't shoot the trinity of main characters'. It was pretty clear. I'm gonna go ahead and forward you the memo."

“Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? Hmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. You must feel the Force around you; here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes. Even between the land and the ship.” yoda

If a rock and a tree are filled with the Force then why not a trooper? Can he call lightning from his eyes and ball of fire from his ass? No, but can he call on the Force to aid him in his time of need? Yes. What else is that valiant last stand, if not an act of the Force? When despite your wounds you can drag your self up and continue fighting. When an enemy has his blade in your gut and you set off the thermal detonator on your bandoleer. What is it other than the Force, when you make that perfect shot taking the bad guy down. I would say, that everyone can use the Force, every one can be influenced and call upon it to aid them. The only difference is the degree to which you can control and how it aids you. In fact I would venture that not only could a trooper (especially an elite) call on the Force, but that he could do so just as potently as the mightiest of Sith or Jedi. He just cant turn it into lightning or super jumping. Its all about believing.

"No! Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try." Yoda

I thusly hold the argument that the Jedi and Sith have some sort of exclusivity to the Force and that they are therefore always "superior" to a normal person as invalid.

How would troopers even get memos? Do they have like a morning meeting with coffee and doughnuts, and sit around and discuss how the repairs on the death star are coming along? And in addition to that, what did all those troopers on the death star do anyways? I mean I could understand in the first one with it being a fully functional space station, but the second one, were they just chilling there doing patrols around empty corridors waiting for something to happen?

In all honesty that one just came to me, as to what they were actually doing >.< Once the Emperor showed up it made since but before Vader even shows what were they doing? Personally I wanna say they were playing cards.
