Don’t worry, all you Jedi Knights and Consulars: the Troopers won’t attack you, but that does not make this episode any less exciting! SWTOR gets its first major content update with patch 1.1, “Rise of the Rakghouls.” Alan, Evan, and Zach tackle all the tweaks and changes the game will see once the patch hits and also look at some previews of future possible changes. The crew dives into MER-Q’s and then welcome back MMO Loser, now with SWTOR losers!

I'd like to get a community opinion on this one, but I created a female Twi'lek Jedi Consular named Sylvanni, obviously a variation of Sylvannus Windrunner from World of Warcraft, with what I think is a little Star Wars universe twist on the name. I am NOT going to make my legacy name Windrunner, does this still make me an MMO loser?

Yeah, if you take BioChem as a crafting most of your stims, adrenals, medpacks once you get them to purple are reusables. You the cool down is 90 sec on Medical, 3 mins on Adrenals, and stims don't have a cooldown listed. Never really used them cause I blew by the usefulness of the item lvl wise by the time I could use them. End game though yeah, that would be HUGE. get a bunch of resuable adrenals and just party time.

Didn't see any live dragons but there's some nice bones outside of a Repub outpost out there in the Dune Sea. In the middle of listening so might add some more later.

**later...

First off names are really touchy with me and with this I SEVERELY apologize up front if this in anyway tweaks your calm. If I run into someone name Oosiltilation (random keyboard typing there) I have more respect for that person that someone that has a name of BattleShip or JawaKiller. Those are names, those are people who unfortunately either don't read or who's imaginations are so limited they force themselves into caricatures of what they want to be. Yeah, seeing Luke Jaywalker would be annoying but it's a shade less for me. I really loved LoTRO at first because you didn't see those names, then 6 months or so down the road they started poppin up. My guy Muar is actually supposed to be Maur from a book I read a long long time ago in a ... well a while ago but I mistyped and whala New Name. :)

Warzone leavers. TOTAL Losers. I can't stand people who sign up for something and then as soon as one guy shows as slower or any less ability the start screamin at the guy and leave saying they're ruining their game by their suckiness. Hmmm...guess what, you really ruined it for everyone on your team by being crybaby and not learning new things that a deficiency might cause you to do instead of being your normal BOSS self.

Gear based inclusion. I'm all for it. I usually am on the outside looking in on this. I'm a pretty casual player (this time though I'm 45 and didn't get to start until actual release date) I put in alot of time over christmas and weekends. The wife gave me the OK cause we're expecting here any week and at that point I'm on hiatus. :) However I digress. Back to the issue though. This usually keeps me from gettin yelled at or feeling like a complete loser since if I joined they'd probably expect me to know as much as they did. Also it protects the group from someone who just bought an account or someone who hops on a friends for the heck of it one night when they're drunk as heck. Yeah, elite mentality sucks but sometimes it's a nice cushion to keep you away from jerks.

On the level 50 issue I hit 50 a week or so ago and started raiding last weekend and got 3 boss kills and almost downed the first EV hard mode boss. I also have 2 alts in the teens.

I do have a full time job and I also party a lot on weekends(new years was a rough one), I really don't quest with other people, except on voss because it was so grindy and I found someone who was perfectly synched with where I was one day. I try not to do repeat runs of flashpoints, in fact compared to beta i did less flashpoints. I don't do any warzones. If I waste any time it is with crafting leveling. I think leveling efficiency in this game is really based on how well you do your quests, bonus quests, and bonus series, make sure that if you only have 5 sand people left to kill before you turn in the main quest attached with your kill sand people bonus quest, kill the darn sand people Also the multi-part bonus quest chains (not the bonus series)are great because they will usually be in a very small area that you are questing in anyway. Exploration takes time in this game. If you go looking for every nook and cranny then you time will just get sucked from you.

So I have become a fairly new listener to the show in the past month but I enjoy it. I wanted to comment on the star wars character name in the game . both of my current character are named are characters in the a star wars universe but they are small in the grand universe. my Sniper is named Brightwater which is the name of a imperial scout sniper in the star wars universe and Daric LaRone who is a trooper in the universe. After choosing these name I have found myself role playing into the row of the character picking ideals they would probably choose. Think if you choose Minor character go the Chiss naming like was mentioned it its rather fun and add to the MMO star wars fun.

I wouldn't say I'm bored yet at 50. I've been at max level for a couple of weeks now and today since they fixed the Kira bug I've been able to pursue that hot Jedi now and finsh my class quests. Just now getting into the unlocked dailies and additional questing. So that leaves me plenty to do so far.

In regards to the character names, it seems you guys take offense to it more than I'd expect. If I see someone with the name "Skycrawler" or "Hand'Solo" I chuckle then move on to whatever I was doing. Getting worked up over people choosing dumb names isn't worth it, let them be the ones being laughed at ;)

Yes Alan Rottul and I are brothers...See my name might be taken as a Star Trek reference but its a name I have been using for a long time now. I actually got it from a fantasy seris written by John Marco...can't remember the name of it right now but the main charater's name was Garic.

Great show! I do have the same level of disdain for players knocking off legendary character names, especially before they ever came to existing let alone be a legend. Uncool, and they "must pay for their lack of vision" well... ok not always exactly. And I've got to wonder if Bioware blocked common Huttese curse words and their variants. I think I'm gonna roll a FAT smuggler named Echuta just for S&G's and see how many people pick that one out and say, "Parents didn't like you did they? --for giving you that name." But I agree, not a looser if you pull some obscure nugget of a name a 100 pages into a book or a humorous SW inside joke--Darth Salacious Crumb!
