Loving this episode so far. I just wanted to talk about the opening crawl as a narrative device. This is not just limited to Star Wars, it was based on serial TV episodes(such as Flash Gorden) which would basically catch you up on what had happened in the previous episodes. As to it giving to much informtion that could be found out while watching the movie, I have always found it very Shakespearin. In many of his plays he would tell you what was going to happen so that way you would pay attention to the characters and their development. Knowing how much George had studied mythology and other films and such I think it was a calculated move and a strong intro to the middle of a series. Just my opinion and a counter point to the ones expressed in the episode.

Well, I had a post on the topic of machinima and user-made videos, but hit the wrong keys on the keyboard and lost it. Imagine a long post. Now here's the TL;DR:

It's a big grey area and a smart company will let it happen at some point. User-made content of any kind keeps a game alive past the initial launch.
