I'm glad we're not making people run away in annoyance on the server! We're really glad to have you here and be sure to check out the updated Guild Recruitment Guidelines Alan has posted, if you haven't already.

Thanks! I'll be sure to check it out shortly.

I was at work bored out of my mind one day and had just heard of the impending release of SW:TOR...being an avid Star Wars fan and constantly daydreaming of the day I would be a real Jedi (or Sith really... kill everyone, no remorse... mwahahaha) I went to vimeo... youtube is blocked at work... but vimeo isn't!! :D

Then I found videos by some old guy named Alan under the username Alan ShotFirst. I watched, I listened, I was intrigued. Then after filtering through all of his episodes, I noticed he mentioned this place quite a bit... so I decided to head on over.

This community & forum is awesome and through some private messages directly with Old Man Alan, I will soon be rolling a character on Veela in an attempt to join MERC. This community is awesome... my only fear is that I will end up abandoning my other server and characters to be fully active in MERC and really get the experiences and comraderie that I witness on these boards daily.

...that and I fear if I don't that Wood will be on my case about the 30 day activity rule...

...this may be a bit premature, but I heart the MER community.

Mentally? 5.

However my body is aged 27 years...born in November of 84... Yeah you're not THAT old, but ever since your podcast a week or two ago where you said "Go ahead and make fun of me for being old" ... I plan to :D

Cool! I was afraid it'd look too spammy for people to want to come see what's up here. Glad you came!
