Awesome. EVE Online will no longer be the most boring MMO ever.

Hey hey! Don't you dare say that Skyrim is a boring game. It's up to the player what to do!

Now I really hope that the TES MMO will stay in the first person angle, and would include the same kind of real-time combat as the main games. It wouldn't sit well with an Elder Scrolls game to have skillbars, quickslots and such.

Except you can only do boring things. Even the combat is dull as hell. The only truly fun thing is dragon slaying, but that gets boring eventually too. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is the only Bethesda game I've ever played and enjoyed.

Oh well, I guess not everyone likes exploring. I like the world and the views. Just walking from the borders of the map to the other side is great fun! I admit that it was horrible in the first and second TES games, because it was a ranfomly generated empty world.

Being stealthy and backstabbing stuff is also fun!

I desperately want to enjoy Bethesda games. Every time I hear one described it sounds like the kind of game I would love. But each time I get a game, I end up bored to tears and feeling like I just wasted my money and vow to never buy another Bethesda game...until the next one comes out and all my friends go on and on about how awesome it is.

I will say that the amount of freedom they give you to basically do whatever you want is pretty damned amazing.
