I've had about a year's worth of experience with the news releases from the marketing / community team (p.s. MER celebrates it's 1 year on July 10!). They have so far done a fantastic job of keeping an ebb and flow of information that has kept a vibrant community afloat, and allowed us to put out a solid 20 episodes that average well over an hour each.
If I'm not mistaken, the next big event for the team will be GamesCom in the middle of August, followed quickly by PAX in September. These are going to be the big releases. My guess? Warzone combat footage at GamesCom and the Jedi / Consular hands-on at PAX.
In the interim I'm thinking we'll see a new Blood of the Empire or two, at least a couple developer blogs on the design behind player ships and warzones, and probably a developer video about....something. I can't really hazard a guess.
Either way, things will probably slow down a bit between now and GamesCom, get really heavy for about 6 weeks, and then slow down a bit until December. At that point, we're in the home stretch! Unless, of course, something comes up that forces (heh) them to push (double heh) the game back to the summer.
