So, I managed to get my copy before their customer service site went to crap, and so far, it's not looking bad. Granted, what they give you is all pre-built characters, but you get a feel for the basic mechanics and game design between the five characters, DM guidance, How To Play guide, adventure, and bestiary.

From what I can tell, it's much more 3.5 than 4E. What that means for older players, who may or may not have made the switch to Pathfinder, remains to be seen. Supposedly, when the full game is out, you'll be able to build your game leaning towards whichever edition you want, ranging from 1E (AD&D) to 4E. What they've given us, though, like I said, is much more 3.5.

Actually... it looks and feels more like Pathfinder than I think they might want to admit.

Never really got to play with Pathfinder. I do however have fond memories of 3.5 and 4E has been good enough as far as being a teaching tool for the kiddos to learn how to play. But something that goes back to 3.5 will be nice.
