Listen here!

Sorry that took so long guys. My four hours of sleep per night is really not helping. Maybe switch-hitting between English Breakfast and Glenfiddich every night isn't a great idea either...

Anyways, author spotlight, as promised! And surprise of surprises, it's not Timothy Zahn! *gasp!*

Thanks for show I really enjoy hearing you talk about the lore side of things and then grabbing the odd novel for my kindle. I'm intrigued by your closing comments (but very relieved to hear that you have things in the pipeline!).

On a side note, it crossed my mind the other day that it feels a bit weird at the moment, in the sense that it used to be that I listened to MER as I was waiting patiently for TOR to come out, and now it's completely the other way round and I find I'm getting twitchy for my next podcast from you guys!! :D

Anyway really appreciate the effort you all put into the shows as well the time you give up to create them.

A happy listener,

Mihn

*I raise my hand and wait to be called upon.*
I just started listening to this podcast last week. I work in the evening and have a chance to listen to a slew of podcasts. Last night I found myself listening to episode 1 to 3. Good work guys. I love learning what you put on the table. Also, with book recommendations I know what audio books to look for. Hope yall keep it up. Thank you and see you next class.

Ps. I miss the MER podcast. Hope to hear something in the future.

If all goes well, you'll see a new MER within a week's time. Hopefully.

Great 'cast guys, as usual. Good topic. Michael A. Stackpole is probably my most-read Star Wars author, so much so that I have to stop myself from picking up several of the X-wing novels because I have them all but memorized. I have only one complaint about him. I have noticed that he ends the vast majority of his chapters (like, all but one or two per book) with a dramatic or semi-dramatic qoute by one of the characters. A minor technical point, I know, but it bugs the hell out of me.

I just started re-reading Isaard's Revenge today. I'll have to watch for that.

I'm currently reading a Michael A Stackpole series called Dragoncrown war cycle. I love his Star Wars books, but his non-SW books are great too!!! The prequal book to my current series is written in first person, al la I Jedi style! Great read.

I've also read all of his battletech books, being a huge fan of that universe.
