Let me know what you think about the future of SWTOR after the transfers.

In unsure. The population fix was great, there's new life (and lag ;P), but I'm not sure exactly what the future holds. While I may pass on to other games (gw2 and eventually ps2) I might maintain my sub just to keep a pulse on it. I fell out with WoW (after playing from 6 months into BC until 3.3) and when I came back I had fallen so far behind it was worthless to play. With them also looking to possibly go f2p that would entice me to keep playing, because as it stands, personally I'm not having the greatest time because I'm hitting that "stale" wall I do in most MMOs I've played in the past. Only time will tell I guess

I can definitely say I'm grateful for the server transfer. Despite the lag spikes I can once again PvP to my heart's content. And maybe now we can get some community events going in full swing! :D

I am SO glad for the server tansfers. All of my characters were transferred in less than ten mins. I have not logged in yet today, but as of last night I was still waiting to hear about our guild bank though (It has only been about 24hours, as of last night). When we left our old server there was 16 people on the Republic fleet. When I logged into my new server, The Shadowlands, there was 287 people on the fleet alone. I actually experienced slight video lag! :o

Overall, I'm very happy with the transfer. I love being able to PvP and conduct business on the GTN. I hadn't been able to find everything I need in a while...

That being said I have come into a few mean queue times at peak hours, one of 12 minutes and one of fifteen, both at peak hours. All in all, I'll take the 27 minutes and continue to get my PvP on...
:D

my brother wasn't a fan of the transfer at first. he'd only been in the game for about 3 weeks when we made the switch to pot5, so from his perspective, all the transfer did was create a dramatic increase in lag.

I've explained the other game elements that he hasn't gotten into yet though, he's cool with it.
