Well it seems the official forums will be getting a clean slate soon. According to the dev tracker, they'll be wiping the forums clean (save those of the guild ones for now) and starting fresh on Dec 10th in readiness for the launch.

Also putting into place a "if yer not a paying customer, you can't post on our forums" lock. Which I expected anyways since so many other MMO's do that too.

Hopefully this means we'll have less whiny posts from outside sources.... bah... who am I kidding..

That will be great, so many threads get lost in the sea of noise on there. I have seen threads disappear off the front page within a minute, no exaggeration. they are also saying there will be some new forums and some features when they reopen.

Hah! I had 2 infractions. They were badges of honor from my ongoing battle against ignorance and entitlement. I will be sad to see them go.
