Alan, yeah it is frustrating when one is listening to a podcast and one has the definitive answer (Like I did as well on both those topics), and it is still cool to hear other people talk about it even if they sometimes don't have the full scoop.

The main thing that should clue folks in to if something is a Flashpoint is that they have made this very clear in the past when something is. "This is the Xxxxx Xxxxx Flashpoint"

The really cool thing about the Alderan final quest is that it scales for: solo and 4-man group depending on how many characters enter the instance. I don't think it supports two 4-man groups (or more) because there is story during the quest and they've said that they do not have story during things that have multiple groups.

Crackerbox, licenses generally have a lifetime to them. I wouldn't say that they "lost" the license, they either got outbid for it (by Bioware/EA who might work through another publisher to create another system) or they simply couldn't front the cash for the license.

My guess is they had a 10-year license to sell Star Wars RPG books, and that it ran out.

If you do have all the books, some of them were being bid up (as of February/March) on eBay and Amazon, so this might be a chance to unload some at a pretty penny. If I had the books already, I'd probably be running or playing in a weekly game leading up to the launch of SWtOR.

oh dear, SWG closing down? I only subscribe to it for JTL so I can get my Star Wars flight sim fix from time to time. I'm totally pumped about TOR, and absolutely appreciate the need for them to focus on getting the main game working, but I really do hope that in time they can grow the space side of things...if I cant jump into a Tie-Fighter and spread order around the galaxy then this game will never feel completely whole to me (I suspect I'm in the minority on this).
