Leo and Evan hit you up with a whole lot of love in the first of their author spotlights, highlighting Michael A. Stackpole, author of half the X-Wing series, among many others. After the news, the guys will fill you in on some of his older works, his long-lasting contributions to Star Wars, and some books we didn’t get. Oh, and this is finally the episode in which the guys figure out a drinking game. Enjoy responsibly!

Of all the things Old Republic fans asked for during development but didn’t get, the ability to play as a droid was number one on the list. Having said that, it’s pretty obvious that Star Wars fans love the droids, even the annoying ones. Since there is an absolute slew of droids out there besides the R2′s and the 3PO’s, on today’s episode, Leo and Evan will help you navigate the sea of robot buddies and share some of their inner workings.

Leo and Evan are back from taking a little break after the big two-part essential reading list and timeline, and they are happy to tell you about some of the starships you’ll fly as well as blow up in SWTOR! They have a lot to cover, but, as always, they have some interesting and amusing news bits, more suggested reading, and a lot of great questions from the class this time around.

It’s time for another long lesson, folks. After many requests, Leo and Evan have collaborated to bring you their own personal complete reading list. This is their take on what Star Wars books you should spend your time and money reading, so if you hear books you might not expect and don’t hear some you thought should be on there, it’s just two guys’ opinions. We like to think they’re pretty, good, though.
The recording came out much longer than anticipated, so you can expect part two of the lesson to arrive in just one week’s time! As always, thanks for listening!
