In the process of listening to this audio book right now and loving it.
I’m guessing this episode will have spoilers, so will have to save for later once I’m done.
I’m not going to lie, I did not think the Revan novel was that good. I don’t want to give anything away in the comments, but after building up both Revan and the Exile in the KOTOR 1 and 2 games, the ending in the novel just felt cheap. The problem lies with the game coming out 300 years later, and we know that Revan never comes back during that period. I suppose it was a situation of making the best of a plotline that already had a beginning and an ending, but I still thought it was sort of a sell-out.
I’m reading my hardcopy of Revan atm and so far I’m enjoying it. It’s definitly getting me in the mindset to play Sith in 10 days time.
Overall, I think the novels written in this galaxy are wonderful and there are some authors that do a wonderful job os speaking to me. But my favorite so far has to be I, Jedi. Not only was it a great ready, but I love how seemlessly it was integrated into the Jedi Academy trilogy even though they were written years apart.
I’m also very fond of Vector Prime. I’ve always been a fan of R.A. Salvatore and this was classic Bob.
Keep up the great work on the show, boys. I look forward to it, even if there are too many days between podcasts. lol
